Is there a forum plugin ?

I’m actually sorry for asking, because i’m pretty sure this has been asked before, but my searches for ‘forum’ and ‘forum plugin’ revealed several thousand hits, and the first few pages where not what i was looking for.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction, thx.

It has been asked about a million times, but… I don’t believe there is an actual ‘forum plugin.’ However, the WordPress developers also offer bbPress.

here is one forum plugin that I found on my travels on google XDForum, but it appears to be 1.5.x compliant and not yet modded for v2.0 maybe worth a try all the same though:
