• Hi, I’m trying to add a ‘your country’ dropdown to a form in Contact Form 7 (v 3.5.3). It all works fine if I have a small number of countries but if I use the list that somebody has added here, (gist), I get an error when I try to save the form.

[select country "Afghanistan" "Albania" ... "Zimbabwe"]

The error is a 101 error I believe. Chrome gives me a “This web page is not available” message and Firefox gives me a “The connection was reset” message. This happens on both localhost and live server. I also recieve this message if I then try to visit the page containing the form shortcode. I have set WordPress to have 128MB of memory.

After testing it seems I can only have a certain number of possible options before this error occurs. If I use countries that begin from A to M it works as well as N to Z, but if I use the full list I get the error.

So, is there a maxiumum number of options you can use in a SELECT dropdown in Contact Form 7? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
