Is there a new Share-plugin topdog out there?

  • I have been using a plugin called Social Bookmarks for a while. And my impression is that readers do not use it very much.

    Lately on the internet, I see people have started to use the Facebook-like button instead. Which seems to be used alot more quantitavely.

    It seems that the old sharing-fuctionality, is dying out, and being replaced with more lighter and simpler choices. Like the “like this” button.

    I could simply download a plugin for just this button, but I also want the “tweet this” button, and perhaps the Google button too.

    Arent those three the biggest social platforms right now? I ask because I do not want to be over-representing Facebook, by having just their functionality hooked up to my websites.

    So is there a plugin that has these three new buttons in one package? That has the most modern social-functions of the internet?

    My personal favorite is the Add to Any plugin:

    It does offer almost all sharing services, but it moves services that the users is currently logged in to up to the top of the list.

    Well see, thats just another version of Social Bookmarks, with the same old features “share to facebook” and such. Just wrapped in a more dynamic and may I say, messed up way. This is not simple at all.

    Facebooks hottest social button is the “Like this”.

    Twitters hottest social button is “tweet this”.

    Googles hottest social button is….what?

    IS there a plugin with these three? And perhaps Im missing someone?
