Is there a plugin for creating a social community?

Hi, I would like to use wordpress as a base for a social community.

Now this social community would be centered around music producer profiles who would have a music player on there page etc. where they could then sell there beats.

Sort of like MySpace, but it main aim is not to compete. I’m looking to create something looking like virb, but with the sole purpose of selling your music.

Any ideas, or if not is there another way to go. I want something secure and reliable which is why I chose WordPress as my CMS base and not a simple myspace clone script.
