    would love to be able to start a post, and then have the rest of the post in a link that says [MORE}

    is there such a one?

    I think you’re looking for the built-in feature of using <!--more-->

    ‘more’ functionality has been in the system since it started. all it is is an HTML comment <!--more--> placed where you want the break to be…

    I’ve not messed with the post by email features at all. Including
    <!-- more -->
    doesn’t do the trick?
