is there a plugin to publish a post on behalf of another user/author

  • Hi there,

    I am manually importing a forum site to wordpress and i wanted to publish posts on behalf of the user at the old site. Is there a plugin that let’s me change the user/author before it’s posted?

    I’ve seen some co-author plugins but that is not what my intention is.

  • Once it is saved as a draft, you can change the author to any user if you have the permissions. It is on the edit post screen.

    Unfortunately, it does not show up when first creating the post. You need to save the draft for it to be there.
