Is there a search function that actually works?

    I’ve downloaded all sorts of search plugins and none them work.

    Even the default WP function doesn’t work.

    There seem to be lots of complaints about the search function not working, but no answers as to how to make it work.

    Is this a dirty little secret or something?

    In what way doesn’t the default search function work? Are you seeing bad results to searches, or no results?

    I’ve never been able to get any search function (either plugin or default) to ever work in any previous versions of WP.

    I just get a message saying, I’m sorry the page you’re looking for doesn’t exist.

    However, now all of a sudden the default function in WP 2.7.1 is working. But it wasn’t when I first installed it.

    I think I’ll count my blessings and stick with the default search now that it’s working.
