Is there a way back

This plugin really marvellous, it does just what I want and solves so many problems. Perfect, and thank you!

But, what if, at some point in the future, the plugin is no longer maintained and I have to stop using it? I’d be left with spread throughout posts, a huge job to clear up.

Is there some way of saving/exporting footnotes? So that if I had to I could re-instate them in some other way
