Is there a way for featured images not to show in post?

    This theme is truly awesome! I think the masonary grid layout is perfect for my site. But if I don’t set a featured image then that post doesn’t show on the front page, if I do set a featured image it shows up great, but then on the post page there are two images. Is there a way to make only one image show on the post page? Thank you for your help and great theme!
