• Hi Stéphane. Falang has a very nice feature, that of showing in default language content not yet translated. What about the possibility of showing only translated content? Another plugin I’m testing works this way, so I was wondering if there was a way to do it. Thanks.

    Hi,

By default Falang display the default language, it’s how Falang work, you can translate your others languages step by step.
you can for post to display the content to specific language.

Falang will prbably never do this. The multilanguage plugin who do that generally duplicate everthing. it’s not the Falang Spirit.

Hi Stéphane and thank you so much for replying.

Since you quoted the duplication of content, I have a question for you.

Let’s suppose I have an Italian blog and want to translate it into English. Of course I can’t translate everything at once, or simply I want to translate only some content. With Falang, the untranslated content will be shown in the default language (Italian in my case), so… since I’ll have two URLS (Italian URL and English URL) sharing the same text, isn’t it a case of duplicated content?

    Hi,

To be honest i’m not 100% sure, how google and the competitor see this.

Normally with hreflang google know it’s differents language and don’t see it at duplicated content.
The Lite and Pro Falang version add the hreflang in the header.

Is the same content in different languages a duplicate content risk
