Is there a way to add links from gallery images?

    Hi! I’d like to add links to partner sites from a gallery of partner logos, but I haven’t been able to find a way.

    I installed the plugin “WP Gallery Custom Links” which is supposed to solve this issue, but it isn’t working. The FAQ on https://bit.ly/2iymast lists some possible reasons (see #6), is Virtue not using the [gallery] shortcode?

    Any suggestions for how to add links from the gallery images, with or without this plugin?

    I’ve had success with that plugin before. You just need to be adding the gallery via the “Add Media” button above the text editor, and then create the gallery. The link will be set for each individual image.

    Try adding the gallery that way and let me know if you see the area for the link.

    Thank you for the quick reply. But if I use the text editor, won’t I lose the Page Builder layout? (Sorry if my questions are silly, I’m new to the theme.)

    You’ll just have to use a text editor widget in that case. Or I suggest you add this plugin, for a more advanced text widget:
