Is there a way to better separate posts with multi

I frequently cross post into multiple categories on my WordPress blog. Sometimes the multiple categories aren’t easy to see because they’re right next to each other.
Is there an easy way to separate between multiple categories in the FILED IN <category 1> <category 2> area?
Perhaps a separator like a comma “,” or an “&” or an “and” or something.
There’s hardly any space between the multiple categories. Oh, I’m using the TONI stylesheet (if that makes any difference). It’s just a picky aesthetic thing.
