Is there a way to blacklist automatically an IP or sub net when it was blocked? I am new to this tool. Before I had a different brute force one and once that tool was triggered the IP was added as “denied” to .htaccess file. I like this new tool better but I feel it is a no brainier that you want to forbid further access from malicious IP rather than them trying again an hour later etc..

There is no such feature and will not be due to the dynamic nature of IP addresses on the modern Internet. When an IP address is locked out it is in a temporary blacklist. That’s normal and enough. You can increase the lockout duration in the main settings.
