I us complianz plugin and every time I need to trandlate the banner’s strings, I wondering if there’s a way to get all the strings tranlsated automatically given that the plugin is ready to use in multilanguages.

    Hi @jckmntn,

If you started with English as the Site Language and then activated Complianz, the plugin will set these banner texts to English as well.

So, when you switch to another Site Language and want to set this as the banner language, you’ll need to click “Reset to Default” once under Complianz > Cookie Banner for the plugin to reset the banner texts to the defaults of your new site language.

When using multiple languages with a plugin such as WPML/PolyLang, you can translate these with the String Translation feature in those plugins.

    Kind regards,

So the only way is to switch to another language before installing it, then copy all the strings, switch to another language and repeat?
There isn’t any file where they can be copied without genreate it in this tricky way?

    Hi @jckmntn,

You can copy these Cookie Banner texts from the localization files as well. Select the language you need, and use the search function to find the translation of the string you wish to use.
