I have several child pages and one is a members only section that I would like to hide from displaying on the parent page. I would like to keep the permalink and breadcrumb structure so is there a way to exclude individual pages from being listed? Thanks

I have used “display: none;” to hide it temporarily, but was hoping there might be a more elegant solution.

Sounds like you need to use the exclude parameter … the following is taken from the documentation:

To exclude pages, use the exclude parameter. This allows you to specify a comma separated list of Page IDs to be excluded from the output of the shortcode.

    [child_pages exclude="5,33,45"]

There is also an exclude box for the widget.

Oh that’s excellent! Apologies I didn’t find that information, thank you for clarifying. It’s much appreciated.

No problem, I am glad that it is working for you.
