I find that pagebuilders and other plugins allow the source code to show the admin url and would like this not to be shown is this possible? It is for security from hacking to have it not visibly shown.

    Hi,

ajaxurl is a common file that is used by a lot of themes and plugins. It’s meant to be public, so for security reasons… there is nothing to worry about, unless you become paranoid and want to absolutely hide the fact you are using wordpress.

In that case, better not use wordpress because that’s the way it works and it was built that way.

If you were to remove the et_pb_custom (from your theme builder) what would happen is that some content would stop loading and disappear from the page.

You could only make a template on your own, that doesn’t rely on theme editors or ajax requests, but installing plugins… you are bound to always have some sort of ajax requests to wp-admin ajax file.
