Is there a way to save customer billing information with eShop

Customer has to enter billing details everytime he places order on the website.

Correct. This is by design.

So my question remains unanswered. Is their a way customer’s billing information is stored in his profile and eShop picks the same on checkout…

If the customer has registered as a subscriber on your site (an option to can turn on via eShop), the billing info will added automatically – providing the customer has completed their billing details section in the back end of your site.

I request you to guide me more on this. Is there a way to add all these billing fields to customer profile?.

I just need that when a customer registers himself on my website his default role would be “Subscriber” and he should be able to update the billing information from his profile page.

Once billing information is updated in profile page then eShop should pick it from backend once he checkout so that he does not have to enter billing information everytime.

Yes. The customer adds them to his profile if he has signed up to your site.

I’m sorry but I can’t see any billing information in user profile. Can you please show me some screenshots or tell me how to get the same.

Which bit of “providing the customer has completed their billing details section in the back end of your site” are you having a problem with?

1) Once a customer registers himself through normal registration process and reaches in the user profile page then only fields he can see are
Username
firstname
lastname
nickname
display name
email
website
AIM
Yahoo IM
Jabber/Google Talk and
Bio graphical Info

How can I add billing fields here in user profile so that he does not have to enter billing info every time he shops from my website.
