Is there a way to update or repost a toot, or delete it

The plugin supports Create, Update and Delete posts.

What do you mean with preview? It is hard to build a preview, because the way a post displays might vary from platform to platform.

You can see how a post looks like on mastodon, by searching for one of my post URLs on Mastodon:

Simply put the complete URL in the search field and press enter.

thanks for your answer. Ok, I understood, a preview is not possible, because of the different platforms. Never the less I checked you advise with my WordPress post and I see it renders as I defined in the setting, but I can do this only when I already published the WordPress post, right. Never the less, I understand the boundaries, so that’s fine, just didn’t find anything in the FAQ or somewhere else.

But I’m still not sure how to update, correct or delete a ferdiverse post? Will it be only updated or deleted, when deleting or updating the WordPress post, or is there another way? My “use case” is currently to try out some option how the post should look like and see what’s will be rendered, without harming my few followers ;-).

The current implementation supports updates and deletes only when updating/deleting the post. There is no “delete it on the fediverse” feature (yet). This can be a tricky feature, because platforms are often re-checking if the post is really gone and might ignore the delete if it still exists on the site. That’s why we focused on supporting the local actions first.

thanks for your support and information (and this plugin), with that I’m totally fine. Not sure if this is somewhere already part of any FAQ, at least I didn’t found it. So may be it worth to add this somewhere.
