Is there an ability to import usernames, passwords, threads from other forums?

    Is it possible to import usernames, passwords and threads (from another old, forum) or would users need to register as new? Thanks!

    Hi there! Welcome to Muut. ??

    Importing from other WordPress-type forums is on our list of upcoming features, but not quite here yet!

    That said, in terms of user-base, the plugin does have support for a Federated Identities setup, which ties the plugin in directly with your WordPress users. So, if they are logged into your site, they can post straightaway without having to sign in again or create a separate Muut account. If you want to try that out, it is enabled with all the premium features for the first 14 days after you start your forum. Of course, if you decide not to, it will automatically change back to the free version (which still is 100% unlimited—users, posts, channels, and more) at the end of that period.
