Is there an Activity Plan plugin available for WordPress

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has come across a plugin for WordPress that allows for some form of activity planning. I am thinking along the lines of being able to enter an activity (to be done in the future) and assigning this to a previously established user with a due date, description and maybe a status. We are planning to use WordPress as a means to communicate to a team what jobs we are working on, comments etc so this type of thing would be very useful for us.

The other way I was thinking of achieving this was to use one of the event calendars, only instead of setting in an event, it will be a job that needs to be done by a certain date. If there is no activity planning plugin, can anyone suggest a good event calendar??
