Is there an 'official' WP slideshow?

Hi all,
just wondering if there is an ‘official’ wordpress slideshow that might be hiding in the core somewhere?

If not, is there one that is so well funded / committed that it looks like it is staying put and going to always be there to support WP?

Ideally I am after a simple free photo-gallery theme that maybe has a slideshow already built into it.

If not, the WP slideshow I am after should automatically open up and start playing when someone clicks on certain pages straight from the main navigation bar. We are a design studio that want to have about 6 prominent pages like “Brochures” and “Books” etc, and when clients click on those pages it takes them straight to a large black page where the slideshow automatically plays for them.
