Is there any documentation

Looking at the info provided on the front-page description, it is way above and beyond my understanding. I thought this would be simple, but I don’t understand it at all. I simply want to pass variables from one form to another. For example, the name. User imputs his/her name on one field, and in the next form that name field is autopopulated.

For the life of me, I can’t make heads or tails of the instructions of the front page of this plugin. I need a step by step guide.
