Is there any problem with may galleries on a page?

    Hi San! I am enjoying your plugin (pro version!!!) and had a question.

    I am thinking of making all my youtube playlists by year, with the video titles also by year. So 2016 videos would all be something like this:

    2016 Cats eating.mov
    2016 Cats sleeping 1
    2016 Cats sleeping 2

    etc.

    And 2017 videos the same

    2017 Drinking beer.mov
    2017 Eating biscuits.mov
    2017 2017 Cats sleeping

    etc.

    So the effect of looking at a page with many galleries would be similar to the way it looks on an Iphone–you can scroll and see old to new.

    Is there a danger with too many galleries on a single page?
    Will lazy loading make it no problem?
    Is it recommended to use one type of gallery over another?

    Please let me know how many galleries you have planned to have on a single page. It is acceptable, If you would have 2 to 3 galleries with 10 videos each. But, if you would have more than 3, we would not recommend this. We would suggest creating separate pages for each year and link them using a menu/navigation system. Note that Google gives importance to the page speed. So, having a separate page for each year will really improve your page performance and also good for SEO.

    I see. Is the reason Google or is it performance too? It sounds like both.

    Because I don’t have any interest in SEO. It is just a way to deal with Apple’s stupid rule that if your Iphone runs out of space that you can’t keep all your videos.

    If there is a performance issue then I would link by navigation.

    But if only SEO I would keep on one page.

    I would have possibly 20 galleries. 2-3 for each year, with 3 themes- cats, people, travel.

    So 2008 cats, 2008 people, 2008 travel; 2009 same; 2010 same, etc.

    But some years there will be more than 10 videos. Not good?

    Yes, this would affect the page performance. So, we would recommend using a navigation system.
