Is there any way to call WP Smush?

    I’m using a plugin called DigitalOcean Spaces Sync, which job is to upload images to DigitalOcean’s Spaces (Object Storage). But somehow WP Smush not smushing the images when even I have automatic smush enabled.

    So, is there any API or similar, so I can call WP Smush to smush the images before uploading to Spaces?

    you can also add compatibility to DigitalOcean Spaces Sync, just like you did with WP Offload S3 Lite plugin.
