is there any way to pull up a fresh page template?

    I mangled my “single post” page template. I’d like to start over. Is there any way to upload a “fresh” copy of just that template for my theme?

    Download the theme (e.g. from the WordPress Theme repository) to your local machine, extract the files, use FTP to upload just that one file to your host.
