    Hi all,

I am using EM in combination with MailPoet. As soon s.o. has posted a new event, an automated newsletter will be sent to the members of my website to inform them about the new event.

The only thing, I am missing, is the possibility to add the Event Date within the Newsletter. Changes in coding of MailPoet is required to enable this.

There is a workaround to allow integration of post date within the newsletter. For more info look here.

BUT, whatever I do in coding. I do not get the EVENT DATE for the newsletter.

Is there someone who can help me with that?

    Thank you!

  • Unfortunately we can’t help you with custom code and there’s no native way to achieve that.

We are working hard to make this possible on our next big version: https://www.mailpoet.com/mailpoet-version-3/

    Hi,
On the same subject, I am now testing MP for monthly agendas featuring the month events coming from Events manager.
I thought I could just paste in the usual code I use on the site (*) but it does not work.
Any chance this could come one day or should I try to find another tool ?
    Thank you for your answer.

    * for example all events that took place in 2014 for a specific category of events:
    [events_list scope=”past” year=”2014″ order=”DESC” pagination=1 limit=40 category_id=29 ]

    • {has_category_30}Date limite : {/has_category_30}#_EVENTDATES – #_EVENTLINK [#_CATEGORYNAME]

    [/events_list][/tab_item]

On the new version of MailPoet we will definitely included a built-in support for The Events Calendar plugin.

You can read more about it here: https://www.mailpoet.com/mailpoet-version-3/

    Any news about that?

No need about it since we haven’t release the new version yet.
