Is there anyway to copy a gallery?

    I have a gallery of about 45 images with extensive captions. I would like the same gallery with fewer images and would love to save myself some time re-writing all the captions. Unfortunately, I cannot alter the existing gallery as it is still in use. I copied the gallery content on the backend in my file manager, but wondered if there was a way to copy the gallery with captions itself?

    Found this in the documentation – not sure how I missed it the first time through:

    To copy or move images to another gallery, go to Gallery >> Manage Galleries > [select gallery to edit] > select all or individual images to copy/move > under bulk actions select ‘Copy to’ or ‘Move to’> select gallery

    This also moved all of the captions, HOORAY!
