Is there are plugin to remove HTML, CSS, PHP comments?

    Hi,

    I have a WordPress site for testing purpose. I will put many comments on the HTML, CSS and PHP codes, but don’t want these comments to be seen by others(due to privacy reasons). Is there a plugin to remove these comments?

    I know many cache plugins, such as WP Fastest Cache, will also have the functionalities to remove the comments. However, because I need to test codes on the site, it is rather inconvenient to disable cache, make the test and then reenable cache. I just do not want a cache plugin, only want to remove comments.

    I find WP Asset Cleanup that can also to this work.

    Hi, WP Asset Cleanup will only remove the user comments on posts, your html, css and php comments will not be removed. However the only comments that can be security related are the php comments, php comments cannot be seen by anyone visiting your site. Regarding your HTML and CSS comments: you shouldn’t have any confidential data in your html and css.

    Also if your site is only up for testing, you should close it up for the outsite world, by e.G. only whitelisting your ip-address or by password locking the site with .htaccess and .htpasswd
