I see what you’re saying. I think that was just an oversight and I’m surprised nobody else has brought that up by now.

I’m adding this to our GitHub repo to be included in the next update for this plugin. We’ll get that done as soon as we can.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, any idea when it might be updated?

I want to role out a new offer on my site which is set up to use several of your Paypal buttons. I don’t really want to do it until I can change the subscriptions to never ending.

At the moment it looks a little off putting and silly having the subscription set to 30 months! I just want the paypal message saying ‘the cost each month’. With no mention of months.

I appreciate it might not be a quick fix so I might have to search for another Paypal plugin in the meantime. Would obviously prefer to keep using yours though!

Many thanks,

Simon

Unfortunately, it’ll probably be about a month before we’re able to get this done and released.

Great, hoping this update is imminent now ? Been watching this space ??

cheers

I’ve held of from changing the plugin so far, is this likely to be done any time soon?

Thanks,

I’ll bump this particular issue up on our list to get it done so that you can at least download the release branch from our GitHub repo and get it updated manually. Then we’ll probably have to wait a bit longer for the full official release, but that would at least fix this particular problem you’re having.

Is the update nearly ready or is it not going to be done? Would like to know one way or another becuase I’ve been waiting 3 months now and really need to update my subscription links, which at the moment are still set at 30 installemnts which doesn’t look very professional to be honest and has had a few comments. Thanks.

We have begun working on the 1.1.0 update to this plugin. You can track the issue progress here: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-wp-button-manager/milestone/2

You’ll notice this particular issue is actually already completed: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-wp-button-manager/issues/71

If you’d like to download it early you can grab it here: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-wp-button-manager/archive/release.zip

Just extract that zip and then upload the plugin files to your server overwriting the existing plugin files.

Then make sure to clear any caching / CDN services you may have in place, and give it a shot. It should resolve the issues you were having.

Hi,

Thanks for doing this but it kinda still throws something up when you get to the Paypal page…

THIS IS A TEST PAYPAL SUBSCRIPTION I’VE JUST CREATED WITH ONE OF YOUR BUTTONS
<img src=”https://www.wantacreative.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/subscription-sample.jpg”>

Is it possible that the 52 weeks instalments can be removed? It still kinda suggests the subscription will stop when it shouldn’t.

Really it should be like this…

<img src=”https://www.wantacreative.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/subscription-sample2.jpg”>

This says to the customer that it is ongoing.

Would be great if this could be done quickly… please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Sorry I’m messing it up now, dam image links!!

It should be like this without the instalments

Hope I haven’t confused matters.

Thanks.

Hmmm, thanks for the feedback. We’ll look into this more and figure out what’s going on there.
