Is there really no recaptcha or am I missing something?

    Hello,

    We’ve been using this plugin for several months now on a non-profit site. It works nicely, but the client just pointed out to me that they are getting tons of spam email sign-ups for their newsletter since we launched their new site.

    They didn’t have this problem on their old site that used the old ActionNetwork forms. So I started poking around to figure out why. What I found is it doesn’t appear that there is any kind of spam filtering available for the newsletter subscription widget. I’m hoping that I am just missing something obvious. Please tell me how we can filter the spammers while using this plugin.

    Hello, No Action Network does not use Recaptcha for spam filtering.

    This isn’t unique to the plug-in, it’s just not how Action Network handles spam.
