I’m trying to migrate from the YITH Brands plugin to the WooCommerce Brands plugin, just having some teething pains.

I’ve a piece of shortcode set to display a product’s brand just beneath its title. The code is [yith_wcbr_product_brand show_logo=”yes” show_title=”yes”] which I can place with the UX Builder.

This displays brand along with a URL to browse it.

Is there an equivalent for the WC Brands plugin I can substitute in?

    Hi @grahamhopsack,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re transitioning from the YITH Brands plugin to the WooCommerce Brands plugin and you’re looking for a similar shortcode to display a product’s brand beneath its title.

For reference, this particular forum is meant for general support with the core functionality of WooCommerce itself.?However, to learn more about the WooCommerce Brands extension, you can find the required details on the shortcode from this guide.

    I hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’ve looked through that guide, and unless I’m missing something, that shows you how to display a brand image. I can’t find a way to display the brand’s actual name.

I found this thread which seemed to be asking the same thing, but the solution did not work: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/brand-name-not-showing-single-product-page/

    Hi @grahamhopsack

Since this is related to a premium extension, please contact us directly here. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

As per the forum guidelines, no support for premium extensions is done here, but we will be happy to assist you further from there ??

    Thanks!

Hi Shameen. I looked at that tech support page, but Brands is not listed as one of the extensions for selection. Not sure how to make a support ticket. Can you have a look and see if I’m missing anything?

I was able to check and can confirm the WooCommerce Brands plugin is not in the provided drop-down. As this is a premium plugin, you need to contact us for assistance, therefore as an alternative, I recommend opening a ticket with the Core WooCommerce drop-down option then explain it in your response.

Please note that the first point of contact would be our friendly AI who will get back to you with a few steps to troubleshoot your issue further, should that not be helpful, I’d recommend reaching back with a reply in the same email you get from our AI. This way, one of our Happiness Engineers will gladly take over the ticket.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to assisting you internally.

    OK thank you.

I can’t find a way to speak to this AI, but I did create a ticket. I haven’t received an email confirmation, though. Are you able to check if it went through?

    Hi @grahamhopsack,

Are you able to check if it went through?

Glad to know you were able to create a ticket.

In order to be able to check for your ticket internally, I would need a 7-digit code which looks like #1234567. Please check for it and share it here then we’ll be able to confirm if it was created.

    Thank you for understanding.

As I said, I don’t have an email confirmation of the ticket so I don’t have a 7-digit code. Are you able to search by email address?

    Hi @grahamhopsack,

Sorry for the confusion but I did not mean you will receive a 7-digit code after creating a ticket, but what I meant is the reply will have a 7-digit code which we can use to track your ticket from our system.

As you did not already receive any reply, I would like to bring to your attention that tickets are replied on a first come, first served basis, thus, it may take some time before your ticket is replied.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hi there, just wanted to follow up as it’s now been 7 days. Can anyone check if my ticket is there?

    Hi @grahamhopsack,

If you’ve not received any communication this far, it is possible that your ticket did not get to us. Please create a new one by heading over to Woo.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.
