Is this 100% GDPR compliant? Any data collection going out?

I went through the change logs and just to confirm, is it because of the Google fonts in the premium version its not 100% GDPR compatible or its something else?

That means we have added a new Google font, which is not what you meant.

@manjilnepali1 Tested the theme with just one plugin (Complianz) and found a unspecified cookie being set “wschkid” and as checked its not from Complianz plugin.

Can you confirm if this wschkid cookie is being set by this theme at any particular point? If yes, how can I remove it?

@manjilnepali1 Please ignore that. Its disappeared now for some reason and no more being found. I guess some inactive/deactivated plugin still set those. If in case it was by the theme please let know.

Actually, this is not related to the theme. So, once you clear your site’s cache, it might remove all cookies comes from the plugin you added earlier.

While discussing with the developer to make an eStory GDPR complaint, I got to know from them that eStory is already compliant with GDPR.

Since eStory is an FSE theme, we’ve not used any features that would go against GDPR. WordPress itself is GDPR compliant, and we’ve followed its guidelines. For example, we’ve loaded a font family locally (not using Google URL).
