• Sorry for all of the annoying questions, I’m just anxious to get the ball rolling!

I used bluehost’s simple scripts to install wordpress onto my website. It appears to have installed properly. But when I go to the admin page they created for me: https://www.allpac10.com/wp-admin

I get the following error message:

    Not Found

The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) PHP/5.2.0-8+etch7 Server at https://www.allpac10.com Port 80

Who’s end is this problem on? Thank you in advance.

  • bluehost. looks like not the script was not able to install ALL the necessary files and folders. recommend you upload WP via FTP.

Something isn’t being found. SimpleScripts uses FTP and, though it tends to be a lot better than most installers, it still isn’t always 100% perfect. If its a new installation you can just use SimpleScripts to uninstall and reinstall it. It should get it right then. Or you can go here: https://www.ads-software.com/download/ and just download the files yourself then FTP them to the server.
