• When updating a lesson I have to re apply the shortcode for the video. It’s OK if you have a couple of lessons but in my case I have 10s of lessons in every course. This means pasting the shortcode for each and every lesson I update.

I’m welling to give up on the whole LMS just for this quirk. There’s no point in repeating a step just to add content drip for example or updating a text.

Why the lesson can’t pull current shortcode or url from database? this is defying logic.

I will not renew subscription until this issue is solved.

I understand that having to manually reapply the shortcode for the video in each lesson when updating can be time-consuming, especially when you have multiple lessons in each course. However, please note that the current behavior is by design in WordPress, and it does not automatically pull shortcodes or URLs from the database for custom posts without any specific relationship.

While it may seem more logical for the lessons to automatically retrieve the shortcode or URL from the database, the current functionality requires manually adding the shortcode or URL to each lesson. This allows for more flexibility and control over the content displayed in each lesson, as you can customize it as needed.
