• I’ve got a custom member’s sidebar with a menu that has

    • s depending on membership level (using [membership level]).
    • When I have this sidebar on the same page as the membership levels, something odd happens (took me a good while to figure this causality out):

say levels 4 and 5 don’t allow registration and are therefore hidden in the table. If my menu now contains items that are hidden to be only visible to users of level 4 or 5 while I am not user of either of those levels, these two levels magically appear in the membership levels table albeit registration is still not possible.

How can I hide content from the current group while not revealing existence of the group this content is reserved for?

  • Hey there,

Could you edit your post? I don’t think the whole message went through because of some formatting breaking the page.

However, the sidebar issue does sound strange, but is most likely a theme/plugin conflict.

Have you tried switching to a default theme such as twentyfourteen and/or deactivating your plugins one by one to see if you can isolate what might be causing the issue?

    Thanks,
    Jess
