In WP on several pages I have made, sometimes if you make a paragraph or a break line and you have a word in bold (or < strong >) it’s like it turns everything after that into bolded text, even if the closing < strong > tag is there to stop it, it just keeps going.

Anyone know what I’m talking about?

  • Can we have the URL to the blog in question please? This might help “us” pinpoint the problem faster. ?? =) Also, are you sure you’re using the right closing tags for </strong> right?

Sure Spencer, just go here https://test1.flametide.com and click on “Rumors”, it is the 12th one down.

I just checked the coding and it turns out there’s two < strong > tags. Keep in mind that this was done in the WYSIWYG.

I know the WYSIWYG is just that, but I still think it’s ridiculous that you can’t get rid of this error very easily throught he WYSIWYG editor. Most of my staff members don’t even know HTML.

I just don’t know why the WYSIWYG is automatically churning out two < strong > tags, not just one.

I’m not sure myself, I usually turn it off though.. ??

But, you prolly already know this.. but, click on the HTML Button..

Then, it will popup a window, you can edit/remove the crap codes there..click the update button..

If you’re copying/pasting from Word processors and so forth, that might do it.. or…maybe just hitting the strong button once too many.. maybe.. I dunno. =)

Awesome theme by the way! =) ??
