I must be missing something. I’m testing on a clone site and the thing will disable other plugins from loading EVERYWHERE (front and back) but there is no point as I may as well just remove the plugin as do that.

But when I set it to deactivate all pages but certain just the URL using it, it does nothing. The plugin in question keeps loading on all pages. (It’s a maps plugin)

I’m also having a hard time finding the specific plugin I want to disable for most pages: the whole reason to try and turn it off on some pages is we have many plugins slowing the site down and this plugin won’t scroll sideways to let me find it. So I can’t see all the pages (big site) or all the plugins at the same time.

Am I missing something obvious to make it work?

    Hi @starhorsepax2,

as I understand you want to disable a specific plugin everywhere but keep it active on some specific pages right?

Can you please give me the following information?:

    • The name of the plugin you want to disable everywhere but keep active on some specific pages. If it’s a free plugin, please give me also the link to its WordPress page.
    • The URL of your staging website if possible.
    • The URLs where you want the plugin active.
    • Answer yes/no to this question: are you trying to use the settings Custom URLs => Plugin By URL?
    • If the answer to the question above is no, can you please tell me which FDP settings are you trying to use?

    Have a great day!

I can’t see how to add the url for the site now I’ve started the topic, is there a way to do that so only logged in can see? I had started with WP MAPS PRO by Flippercode. There are just 4 pages on the front end that use the map so I thought it pointless to have all of them loading it. I was trying to use Custom URLS plugin by url (front end).

    Hi @starhorsepax2

I know that when you start a topic you can fill in the input field “Link to the page you need help with”, but honestly, I don’t know if you can fill it in now. Probably you can’t do it anymore.
If you want you can share the URLs privately with me by using the contact form at https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/contact/.

Thank you for answering the other questions.

    Have a great day!

    Jose
