Is this built in to the latest version of WordPress?

    Is this built in to the latest version of WordPress or do I need to download this plugin? Is this plugin for those that are using an older version of WordPress?

    I haven’t found very much information regarding this

  • The plugin is ahead of the version built into WordPress. So you don’t need this plugin to use Gutenberg, but if you want (to test) the latest (experimental) features then you can install it.

    The plugin contains Gutenberg 7.5.0 while WordPress comes with Gutenberg 6.6.
    End of march when WordPress 5.4 will be released it will come with Gutenberg 7.5
