The last update was in 2013-6-6, not two years.
But I have often write about to search contributor for the plugin.
Also the plugin is on public repository on github.com to easier help on development. But no feedback.
Also I write on a new version, rewrite for better source. But also here no feedback.
If you search a alternative, yes, sure. But better is, that we have contributors for support and development. A stable way for a open source project like this.

    Hi Frank,

I didn’t mean to be brash or anything. so you’re saying you’ve got the code open source and you are not getting contributors? For such an important plugin?

If so, then I have to thank you for putting in so much effort, and I withdraw my earlier comments.

Can we get members of the WP community to commit to helping Frank and all of us out?

I see no problems with your comment. But the source is free and developers and support helper are very welcome for the project. Currently I found not enough time to develop and maintain the plugin. But the current version works, have small problems, but it works and can help.

I just wanted to step in and also thank you Frank for all the work you have put into this plugin. If I was a programmer, I would totally help you out on git. This is one of the most important plugins I own! Thanks again.

This is public adress for developers to help on the plugin. The idea of Open Source to use it, to help it. The chance to maintain the plugin is easy. Now is time to find helping hands. Thanks to share my call out for help.
