Is this plugin compatible with Google SEO Rules?

    This question come to my mind, so showing a popup message for google bot is compatible with SEO Rules or with Google Rules?

    If it is just javascript like what the email subscribe splashes do, then it is okay but otherwise i dont know?

    Does it negatively affect our SEO?

    As I know, Google made the strict rule for popups on mobile devices. And it is for redirection and advertisement popups.

    I don’t know what is the exact “rule” to be SEO friendly. It is an interesting question however.

    Do you know any official or at least reliable source or article about it?

    Maybe a “disable on mobile” option would be good. And I’m also preparing for an option to use a button to activate the popup.

    I think creating an option about Display after xx seconds would be solve this problem. What do you think?

    I can, but it was intentional to not have this option. The main purpose of this plugin is to let visitors know, this is a “restricted area” for them without the confirmation.

    I’m thinking about this option…

    I don’t know, what this link is about, but I want to see an official link from Google or at least a reliable SEO blog article, that says, this option could make the popup “Google proof”.
