• Hello,

I have installed Yoast Seo Plugin to my site but I want to install and this plugin – Add Meta Tags. Will there be a problem or conflict between the two plugins or no problems to have them installed both?

    Thanks.

    Hello, thanks for your review.

From a technical point of view, Add-Meta-Tags is compatible with any other plugin. Please read this compatibility notice.

However, you should avoid enabling similar features, eg the generation of Opengraph or Twitter Card meta tags, in multiple plugins, because it is very possible to end up with duplicate meta tags and rather confuse search engines instead of helping them better understand your content.

For any questions about Add-Meta-Tags, feel free to post them in the forums.

    Kind Regards,
    George

I see. I only need rich snippets and saw that your plugin have those. Thank you for information.

    Hello,

FYI, Add-Meta-Tags does not support the full range of rich snippets as found in Google help documentation. It automatically generates the Article (or WebPage in upcoming versions) main Schema.org entities and attaches entities for media, author, organization etc.

However, if you are into coding, you can filter the generated meta tags and add whatever Schema.org objects you need. Upcoming versions will add some more flexibility in this.

    George
