• I have number of problems with this plugin. Many functions not works correctly. I went through support forum and here is no ANY support from plugin author in very long time. I was trying to contact him directly and there is no response at all.

Maybe it need some attention from WP administration to remove this plugin from WP plugins archive as it doesn’t work properly and have no support.
Also I’m voting this plugin as not working.

  • Then you probably have a corrupted copy of the plugin or another file in WordPress has been altered.

I rely on this plugin and am perfectly willing to donate, but it looks abandoned. Does anyone have any info on whether this will continue to be maintained?

Try WP RSS Aggregator. I have successfully used it to import large amounts of posts from multiple feeds using the Feed to Post addon.

We use this daily across a dozen sites, and managing millions of page views per month. Your mileage may vary depending on your ability to setup your site, plugins, hosting, memory allocation and caching properly.

Well I don’t have my own data center to manage one plugin. I’m talking about standard VPS hosting that are near dead every time plugin retrive RSS.

…and, as I know, 90% of sites use standart hosting.

You would think that anyone who spends so much time on this topic would have taken the time to find the correct page for information. Next time try looking at the plugins site and not the WordPress forum.

This is a widely used plugin with tens of thousands of satisfied users who are experiencing no problems. That said, you must have a specific problem due to your specific setup of plugins, but you try to make it look as though it is a developer problem…

Try going to the developer page: https://feedwordpress.radgeek.com/

Thanks for your time and kind lecture, but unfortunately you said nothing to help solving the problems.

I been trying contacting developer through his website and directly number of times and never ever get one word back.

If you do know anything about plugin setting and how plugin works with very large DB, beside “widely used plugin with tens of thousands of satisfied users” let’s talk about that.
If you do not know how to solve the problems then we have no subject to discuss. ??

P.S. If you’ll read ALL replies, you may find unsatisfied users as well…

With last upgrade it’s more dead than before…

this plugins works for me and i have more than 50 sites with this plugin, so it is not dead, but it is not good for large DBS, when i add more than 100 of rss, it goes down and not working any more. and I can not say which feed should be updated. and no limitation , no multiple cron jobs for load balancing..

Last update kills any feeds: PHP 5.5.9 (Ubuntu), WordPress 4.0
I’ve been reverted to the 2013.5.04 version since this has been released. 5.04 is rough – category errors, db errors.

As for some of you responders – It’s fine if you want to be an apologist, it’s fine to rail on people for complaining if it makes you feel better, but remember – this developer CHOSE to create this software, this developer CHOSE to court a user base. I have no idea what the plan was when the software was created, but if you create a user base, you deserve the wrath that comes from abandoning them.

I’d pay for this if it worked right. In fact, imo, the developer is foolish to not turn it into a commercial project.

Great plugin for us on over 100 sites. We have used it since 3.0 and it has worked without fail. However we created our own content and use this plugin to syndicated it so it is a relatively simple usage of the plugin. I too, would like to see a Pro version just because of the work the developer has put in to it and even though I tried to remember to hit the donate button once in a while sometimes a lot of time passes before I remember.
