Is this Plugin Dead? (invalid-json)

    Have been using for a while, but all of sudden it isn’t working and throwing error
    (invalid-json).

    Maybe a PHP issue with latest version?
    Don’t think it is even supported, looking at other posts.

    Been asking myself the same with regards to (invalid-json). ??

    This issue is out for a while and it appears nobody is stepping in.

    There are alternative solutions for login, contact and comment forms, but I have not yet found another single plugin addressing all those three.

    Changing from SocketPost to CurlPost in /includes/provider/v2.php fixed it for me.

    Thanks @adthegates this solved my issue as well. Had to move folder outside public html then login, then moved it back and went to settings to change to curl.

    I note that Volodymyr Kolesnykov (@SJinks) made a Pull Request on BWP reCaptcha 2 years ago and there was no response, so it seems like this plugin is no longer supported by the author.

    However you may find that Volodymyr is maintaining his own copy at https://github.com/sjinks/bwp-recaptcha (but it does mean that you will need to update manually rather than using the wordpress plugin updater.

    P.S. The BetterWordpress web site also looks abandoned with documentation replaced by adverts.
