Is this plugin maintained still?

    Hi there,

    I know that maybe WordPress haven’t changed enough for plugin to be updated, but I’m curious if this plugin is still maintained? It is updated last time 2 years ago, and I just want to make sure if I decide to use it, will it be updated when something breaks in the future?

    This is actually the best plugin for this purpose (and I think for now only one with this use case), and would be nice if it will be supported in future.

    Hey,

    This plugin is sort-of maintained.

    I don’t do a lot of testing with new WordPress versions, but since the code is simple I don’t anticipate incompatibilities, and I do monitor the WordPress changelog for things that could break compatibility with the plugin.

    I monitor the forum and will try to respond to feature requests and bug reports.

    I won’t actively think up new functionality and add it. And that’s a good thing, since it keeps the plugin small and clean, and it saves you from having to install and test new updates.

    With this approach, updates haven’t been needed for the last two years. You can view the support threads to look into how I’ve handled past bug reports and requests. Usually, I respond within a few days.

    Thank you for letting me know about this and the prompt answer. I understand that plugin has not needed updating.
    I agree that it should remain minimalistic without any overhead features that might be counter effective.
