    Hello!

    Bot’s also fill-out contact forms with spam, right?

    My site is using a Divi contact form and I thought this might work to block some spam I’m getting emailed to me.

    Would Blackhole be good for this application or do you recommend something else?

    Hi Michael,

    There are many types of bots that do all sorts of things. Some are good bots that obey your robots.txt rules. Other bots try to post spam on your comments, registrations, etc. Other bots crawl around looking for vulnerabilities to exploit. Blackhole plugin is good for blocking bad bots that disobey your robots.txt rules while scanning for potential exploits. It also may help a little with spam bots, but you’re better off using a dedicated anti-spam plugin such as Antispam Bee or similar.
