• Hi there,

I have received notification from Wordfence that this plugin has been abandoned? Is it true? I have several websites that use this plugin as I am using Genesis child themes and so far they still work fine, but I don’t know if I should find other slider plugins or continue to use this one?

    Thanks!
    Lydia

  • I received the same message.

    I have the same question.

This support response from five months ago seems to address the question, however, apparently no one has done anything to resolve it…

    Not updated for 2 years?

Sorry for the notification you’ve all seen in Wordfence. You can continue to use Genesis Responsive Slider – it’s working with the latest version of WordPress, contains no reported vulnerabilities, and is safe to use on your sites.

The StudioPress team have been busy working on themes and other projects, but support for the plugin continues, and I’ve noted again that the “Tested up to” tag needs updating to avoid the warnings in Wordfence.

    Hi Nick,

Understood. Hopefully the devs will take time to update the tag soon.

Thanks so much for your continued support!
