It is pretty much what you see is what you get. There are more features with FatSecret’s full API but this plugin is the lower API. So what you see is what you get.

As for the styles there isn’t much variety other than the color in the drop down list. I just dropped this plugin into the community because it was quick, however a PRO version would require a lot of time and honestly there isn’t enough interest.

I just have to many server and programming projects on my plate.

    Good luck.

Bummer. I think part of the problem is no one knows about it in the fitness community. I stumbled upon this recently, but was looking for something like this last Fall. I ended up adding FitBit’s API to my site, but it’s extremely limited and FitBit is not business friendly. Unless you want to purchase $20,000 worth of FitBit’s.

Your plugin is great. Had I known about it last year, I would have incorporated it much sooner.

I have Premier API access, and I don’t know if you’re up for any custom work, but thanks again for your plugin.

    Keep up the good work!

FatSecret provides some good information but most is reserved for the more advanced API.

I do perform some custom work but honestly right now I can’t take on bigger programming tasks.

At least there is this plugin to provide something.

    Hi Jeremy,

What if you developed the FatSecret Professional version and I helped you advertise it?

Just a thought. I would love to allow my members access to the recipe section.

    Thanks again!

I am honestly not convinced there is a big enough market for the kind of time it would take to create a more professional plugin. This plugin was quick because it isn’t doing much.

Plus at this time I just have way to many things on my plate. I wouldn’t even be able to entertain something like this for probably six months. Still, as stated, I have not received enough feedback to warrant the energy necessary for a more pro version. Things may change way down the road but unless someone wants to pay for full production it will be a long time.

    Sorry.
