Is This Safe?

    Hello,
    I tried to set up another page on my website called (FOR SALE) wrote a nice description for one item (A fishing reel) and added 7 photos. When I published the page there was a column on the right hand side of the page with what is written below – I don’t have this on any of my other pages. Is this correct and is it SAFE?

    Somebody please help. I am 70 years old and I am struggling.

    -what you describe seems like default content in a sidebar.
    *on which page is there an example of the situation?*

    -is this the theme active on your website?

    -start a new topic to ask the theme support team how to remove the default content if you don’t want it to be displayed.

    Hello Lisa,
    Thank you for taking the time to try and help me. I am not very good with the PC but will do my best to give you more information.
    “Default content in a sidebar” means nothing to me, I just don’t understand what thar means.
    I deleted the page FOR SALE because I was worried it was not safe to publish it. I completed the page with photos and published it. Logged out of my web page and went back to it as a visitor. When I clicked on Entries feed it was active and showed what looked like links to programs and this was the same on some of the other lines like META. This worried me so I removed the page. This may be the wrong way to ask for help but is it possible to have direct contact in some way.

    -maybe the support team of your webhosting vendor can assist with direct contact for questions about your website. what is the name of the webhosting vendor that you are using and paying for?

    Hello Lisa,
    I tried getting help from TSO Host but they could not help. I tried a paid for help sessing on wordpress.com but my request was not accepted I guess because I am using wordprees.org. So please go to my web page and look at the “FOR SALE” page and you will see the problem I am having with the unwanted column on the right hand side of the page. Kindest regards – John
