Is this secure? Site hacked again after brand new rebuild.

    My client’s site got hacked and it was so bad that I suggested we rebuild it since he would benefit from a new theme anyway. So we did. He has very few plugins and only the standard ones like Contact form 7 and Yoast SEO, plus Slider Revolution and then this one. This is the ONLY plugin we reused, and, yes, we brought over the photo gallery data. His site got hacked again – and this in a fresh new site, only 2 months old. We are at Flywheel which like WP-Engine has their own security built-in. I’m suspicious that this plugin is the culprit. Am I wrong? Anyone else having a problem?

    However, we would like to inform you that our Photo Gallery Plugin does not have any security issue. We have many active users and in case of some stated issues (bugs, conflicts with other Plugins), we find solutions very quickly.

    We can suggest some tricks that may help you to secure your WordPress website:

    First, please change the passwords of your WordPress Dashboard and MySQL.

    Second, use security plugins and scan the website.

    Last but not least, use a Backup plugin, which will allow you to return the Website very quickly in case of hacking. We have a free Backup Plugin.

    Thank you. After more review, I suspect something was mistakenly carried over from the previous site which was quite old and running outdated plugins at the time it got hacked. We will happily continue to use your plugin.
