To answer your question, yes – exporting multilingual properties should work as described in that article. To import multilingual properties you’ll need to use the WPML add-on: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/. Please contact WPML with any questions about importing multilingual data.
